An agent of the La Poste Group who wants to take leave from their personal phone faces two names: GTM RH (sometimes written GTm Extranet) and MaBoxRH. Both seem to lead to the same place, but the login process and accessible functions differ depending on the situation. Understanding this structure prevents recurring blockages, especially when not on the internal network.

HR rights accessible according to the entity and position: what the portal doesn’t say

It is often thought that the choice of portal determines the available procedures. In reality, HR rights depend on the position held and the entity of the Group, not on the interface used. A mail carrier and a manager from the Banque Postale both access MaBoxRH, but their options for remote work, specific leave, or part-time work are not the same.

The 2025 remote work agreement of La Poste is based on dual voluntariness and the eligibility of functions. A mail carrier will not have the same possibilities as a project manager in a regional direction. Before looking for a form in GTM or MaBoxRH, it’s advisable to check with your local HR which arrangements apply to your specific situation.

The portal displays what the profile allows. If a procedure does not appear in your space, it is not a bug: it is probably because your function or entity agreement does not provide for it. To better understand how to use GTM RH or MaBoxRH La Poste, one must first know the scope of rights attached to their position.

GTM RH and MaBoxRH La Poste: functional scope of each layer

MaBoxRH is the entry portal. One authenticates with their HR identifier (IDRH) and the virtual keyboard. It is the container that centralizes all online HR services: pay slips, certificates, administrative requests.

GTM Extranet is the time and activity management module, integrated into MaBoxRH. It does not have a standalone URL. When checking their schedule, leave balance (CA, RTT, CET), or submitting an absence request, one uses GTM without necessarily knowing it, because the transition from MaBoxRH to GTM occurs in the same session.

The confusion between the two causes the majority of connection failures reported to support. If one types “GTM Extranet La Poste” into a search engine, they risk landing on pages that do not point to maboxrh.laposte.fr. The internal recommendation since 2024 is clear: never access GTM via a search engine. Always go through the direct URL of the portal or the Safir network.

What each layer concretely manages

  • MaBoxRH: centralized authentication, pay slip consultation, employer certificates, personal information, global HR dashboard
  • GTM Extranet: detailed schedule, leave and RTT balances, submission of absence requests, tracking hours and activities
  • Smart portal: since the convergence initiated in 2024, some complementary services (internal information, links to other business applications) are gradually integrated into MaBoxRH

MaBoxRH connection in 2026: field constraints and real accessibility

On the internal Safir network, the connection is smooth. The problem arises with external access, from home or while traveling. Access off the network requires a standard internet connection and an up-to-date browser, but some agents report blockages related to personal VPNs or firewall configurations.

The virtual keyboard of MaBoxRH, designed to secure password entry, poses concrete difficulties. The numbers change position with each page load. For visually impaired agents, a sound version can be activated via a button “Activate Sound”, and navigation is done by tabbing (not by directional arrows).

Feedback varies on this point: some agents find the sound keyboard functional with JAWS or NVDA, while others report incompatibilities depending on the browser version. Accessibility is not just about the presence of a technical device. Completing a full HR procedure on mobile remains laborious for individuals with low digital autonomy.

Supporting employees and adjustments related to the portal

The new agreement regarding caregivers provides for organizational adjustments, easier access to part-time work, and measures related to remote work. These rights are managed via MaBoxRH, but one must know where to find them in the interface. A supporting employee discovering their right to adjusted part-time work often has to go through their local HR for the procedure to appear in their space.

Securing access to GTM La Poste: phishing and best practices

Phishing campaigns regularly target agents by reproducing the MaBoxRH interface. The method is simple: a message invites one to reconnect via a link that resembles the official URL, group logo included. The convergence between MaBoxRH, GTM, and the Smart Portal has multiplied the connection pathways, making it easier for attackers.

Three systematic checks before entering your IDRH:

  • The URL displayed in the browser’s address bar must be exactly maboxrh.laposte.fr, with no spelling variants or unusual subdomains
  • The security certificate (padlock) must be present and issued to the La Poste Group
  • The virtual keyboard must function normally with random repositioning of the numbers; a fake site rarely replicates this mechanism

If in doubt, never enter your credentials and contact support via [email protected]. If a compromise has occurred, changing the password must be immediate, preferably from the Safir network.

The good reflex for 2026 remains the same as in 2024: bookmark maboxrh.laposte.fr and never go through a link received by email or found via a search engine. The simplicity of this habit is proportional to its effectiveness.
